Created in a hidden underground lab where barbaric animal testing sought to stretch the limits of human life, he was never meant to belong to the world above. When the experiments were exposed and condemned, the doors were sealed, the scientists vanished, and Cinnamon was left behind, curiously different, inconveniently alive.

Unlike the others engineered for obedience and threat response, Cinnamon’s mind moved along paths no one could predict. He struggled with social cues, overwhelmed by noise and chaos, yet possessed an extraordinary ability to see what others missed. Patterns revealed themselves to him effortlessly. Hidden routes unfolded in his thoughts. Entire city maps etched themselves into his memory in seconds. What the world would later label as deficit was, in truth, a different kind of intelligence.

After the lab was raided, Cinnamon fell into the hands of a ruthless gang that ruled the Hollow’s slums. At first, he was a novelty. A pet. Something strange to parade and control. But when his talent for mapping escape routes and bypassing security became clear, he was pushed into danger again and again. His neurodivergence went unseen, his lack of fear misunderstood. Cinnamon never questioned their motives, he didn’t know betrayal, only instruction.

Until the night he was abandoned.

A high-stakes heist collapsed into chaos, and Cinnamon was left alone in hostile streets, confused and exposed. Some saw him as disposable. Others saw something to exploit. But Cinnamon was searching for neither power nor profit, only a place where he could exist without being used.
